Environmental Footprint Forum Field Trip to the Fulfillery with Farmers’ Market

Have you been curious about the zero-waste Fullfillery store in Takoma Park, MD? This store sells household goods in reusable (or even NO) packaging, with an emphasis on sustainability. For things like liquid soap and shampoo, bring a refillable container (can even be the one you just emptied and were about to put in your recycling). They have SO MANY cool products! The Fulfillery won "Best Green Business" for Best of D.C. 2024. This is an opportunity to check out what the buzz is all about (no purchase necessary). 

NCCC is organizing an outing. You can meet us at the store or opt for a carpool (Village Rides option is available for NCCC members) since parking is limited.  There is street parking in the local neighborhood, or a lot in back of the Fullfillery that charges a flat $5. Afterwards, we can peruse the Takoma Park Farmers’ Market across the street. So, bring your reusable bags!

Return: 1 p.m. (or agreed upon time for each carpool)
